We will use a simple orchid pattern to explore applique techniques for pre-forming shapes: Apliquick, Shipping Label, & Mylar Methods. Needle turn applique will also be demonstrated. Learn the invisible applique stitch, how to make perfect curves and points, needle and thread options. Explore how to choose fabrics and fussy cut realistic dimensional flowers using an auditioning window.

To bring:
- Small sharp pointed paper and cloth scissors
- Optional: Small micro-serrated scissors
- Thimble if you use one
- Water soluble glue pen such as SEWLINE fabric glue pen. ( Available to borrow or purchase in class)
Optional: Your favorite appliqué needles and thread. I will supply needles and thread for you to use.
